BECOMING THE HORSE

In this four day introductory workshop we will explore the value of Becoming The Horse. Horses have much to teach us. For starters, they are rely on intuition, they live in the moment, they are non-judgemental, they communicate nonverbally, they express their emotions, they demonstrate healthy leadership skills, and they understand the importance of the herd. Embodying these skills naturally, horses model for us an inviting way of life. Through interactions with the horses we learn the subtlties of communication, the messages behind our emotions, the bliss of living in the moment, the natural genious of our own inner guidance, the skills for being in healthy relationship with others, and the beauty of herd life. These majestic animals offer us insight to the life we are meant to live. Becoming the Horse is a true gift for us humans.

With the horses as our guides we will journey to the sacred space within each of us to listen to our hearts and reconnect with our inner essence. It is a practice that many of us have forgotten how to do. How do we turn down the volume, relax, be present, and listen to the silent spaces between thoughts in order to know our heart's desire? In this workshop we will intertwine horse activities with practicing tools that release us from our conditioned limiting beliefs which restrict our self expression. This workshop will introduce the basic principles of the Epona Approach and the horse/human connection it inspires. No horse experience necessary.

This 5 day introductory workshop will explore how seeing one another--human or horse- through the eyes of the other can transform our lives and our relationships. In this magical workshop the horses will guide us to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationships, human and equine. In healthy relationships we take turns leading and following and, we flow in and out of different states of connection. The horses are masters at modeling this. In this very special workshop we will have the opportunity to create our own dance with the horses and experience the flow of heartfelt and physical connection. No horse experience necessary.
